guitar strings touching neck
Bridge Pickup Touching Strings?

I have a guitar with the Floyd Rose system (if it matters)

Recently, I was putting in guitar strings and as soon as I finished, I tried playing it.
It was extremely muted and I found out that the strings were up against the bridge pickup and touching it. The bridge pickup is a lot higher than the neck one.

It did play perfectly before I switched strings.
I didn’t know that you had to take them off one at a time?
I can push both up and down but the up has little to no reaction. It goes up like one seminote.

did it play correctly before you changed strings?
did you take off all the strings then replace them or did you do it 1 at a time? is the Floyd “floating” as in you can pull up as well as push down?
