Why is my guitar string buzzing?

I have a Jackson Rhoads 3 guitar with floyd rose designed bridge, and I changed the strings this morning. I tune to E, and I use DR tite-fit 10-52 strings. I didn’t change gauge or tuned lower. I changed the strings and stretched them. The D string is buzzing like crazy. It buzzes on all the frets, with a faint buzz on the high frets. All the other strings are fine. The old string was never buzzing. It sounds like something is rattling around the nut. I know that new strings do buzz, but this is just annoying. Has anyone had this kind of problem, or know what the problem is and how to fix it?

It is most likely the action (which is a term applied to the string height from the neck.) If it is too low, then it will buzz against the frets.

Take it to a luthier/guitar tech at your local music shop. They’ll fix it up.
