guitar pickup question!?
so im planting a humbucker to an acoustic flattop. the only questions left are: how far should the polepieces be frm the strings? do i need to saw some bits off or just drill? here’s my diagram: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=1h_1v_1sas , is there any added info you can give? can i not have a ground from the bridge? ill appreciate the very best answer you can give, and tnx in advance.
When you do this you will have to use electric guitar strings because the brass strings in a acoustic set will sound very thin .
because they are not magnetic.
