guitar strings walmart
Can I use the guitar I have?

Hi. I’m really interested in learning how to play the guitar. I realized that my family has an old guitar (probably almost 20 years) in the basement. The narrow part of the face is pretty narrow compared to other guitars I’ve seen so I assume it’s a classical guitar. It’s a little scratched up and it’s missing a string. Should I just go to Walmart and buy a new set for $99 or should I just buy new strings, a winder/cutter, and an electronic tuner? (By the way, I would have to get the last things regardless for future needs). Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks alot I think I’ll just get the $99 package at Guitar Center because I checked out the comparable one in Walmart and it didn’t (suprisingly) have as much as the GC one (picks, tuner, etc). The only thing is it doesn’t come with a winder/cutter for the string. Should I get one?

i dont really think that the guitar you seem to have is that playable try going to guitar center and get a small acoustic for only 99 dolers it should bnot be first act
